Callie Hem, Female Athlete of the Year
Nearing the end of the team’s best season in 10 years, the Harvard women’s lacrosse team is ready for the Ivy League tournament. Holding an impressive 10-4 record, the squad seems to have found its groove. A major part of the Crimson’s success is its powerful offense, as Harvard finished the season with the highest goals per game, assists per game, and percentage of converted shots in the Ivy League. A key piece of the offense, this past season, was senior attacker Callie Hem, who, for her performance this past season, was awarded The Crimson’s title of Female Athlete of the Year.

After an undefeated weekend on the West Coast, besting No. 20 Santa Clara University (12-6), No. 14 San Jose State University (12-10), No. 17 California Baptist University (11-10), and No. 16 University of the Pacific, the Harvard’s men’s water polo team looked forward to last weekend’s three games at home against conference opponents, including rival Princeton.
Harvard Softball to Play Brown After 4-2 Ivy Start to Season
Early in the Ivy League season, the Harvard softball team has an 11-9-1 overall record on the season paired with a 4-2 conference record. It has finished two Ivy series so far where it swept the University of Pennsylvania and went 1-2 against Brown, though losing both games only by one run.

Close to the halfway mark of its 2022-23 season, Harvard’s women’s tennis team looks to continue improving. With a 6-5 start already, the Crimson is gearing up for its Ivy League season in April, undeterred by any previous setbacks, and dedicating itself to success.
