Iran’s influence on international relations cannot be overstated. The country is at the center of some of the most hotly debated concerns, including nuclear weapons, oil, terrorism, and the state of Israel. Iran will necessarily be the key focus of President Obama’s foreign policy, and the status of the U.S.-Iran relationship will determine the shape of international politics for the foreseeable future.
