Choppy Waters

The Crimson takes the water in 2019, the last regular season of Harvard sailing. The intervening layoff since the 2019 campaign has presented challenges in establishing rhythm and executing clean starts.


21 points from the blue line, including 18 assists, in his first-year campaign was enough to earn junior defenseman Henry Thrun preseason All-ECAC honors. Thrun garners the accolade alongside forward and fellow junior Nick Abruzzese.

What A Start

The Crimson’s 9-1 start ties 2018 for its best start to the season across the last 10 seasons. Next up on the team’s slate are matches against Ivy rivals Yale and Dartmouth.

Safe Haven

Harvard relied on its defense on Saturday to battle the defending Ivy League Champions to a draw. Despite some close calls, including a shot that ricocheted off the crossbar for the Crimson, the game ended locked at 0-0.

The Crimson celebrates a goal in 2019. Harvard would have reason to celebrate in the 13th minute Tuesday after knotting the game at 1-1, but New Hampshire would go on to close with two unanswered goals for a 3-1 win.
